Beach Review - Seal Beach (9/8/24)
Share
In need of a quiet & spacious tanning spot? Make sure to visit Seal Beach! Nestled under Old Town & Marina Park, this beach offers plenty of room to catch some sun in peace, a restaurant to satisfy your taste buds, and is a paradise for those looking to just relax without all the crowds (depending on the time of year). Whether you're a jet-setting exec, a bold & brash adventurer, or a local thonger on leisure-time, Seal Beach awaits your arrival.

Getting There 🚕
Reaching this oasis is easy and quick. You can fly into the Long Beach Airport, which is just about 22 minutes from the beach. From there, you’ll go from suburban to scenic-coastal.
Where To Eat 🍔
Time to eat, and Seal Beach has you covered. For a lil’ bit of local cuisine, The Beach House serves up fish & chips, steak, and their signature Beach House Burger. Their location is right on the sand, next to my favorite tanning spot. Try out Hangout Restaurant & Beach Bar If you're in the mood to head to Main St for a bigger menu.
Insider Tips 🤫
- Tip 1: The best time to visit this beach is in August/September, because temperatures will be high & crowds will be low with school back in session.
- Tip 2: The parking meter that gives you your pass, only takes card or coins, i.e., no bills! Currently, the fee is $2 per hour, but if you use coins, type your license plate number quickly & don’t let the pay station screen go blank, it resets the system and you’ll lose your money. I learned the hard way!
- Tip 3: A windblocker will be your best friend when those sandy gusts hit! The vast & flat terrain allows wind to flow easily.
Conclusion 🏁
Whether the occasion, Seal Beach offers everything you need for the perfect beach getaway. Start planning your trip today, and get ready to experience peaceful sunbathing and calm beach life for yourself.
